September 23, 1918 --- June 5, 1982

Juanita Ileine Ralston, the daughter of Arthur and Marie Orr Streitilmier, was born at Eagle Grove, Iowa on Sept. 23, 1918. She grew up and attended school in Eagle Grove. She was united in marriage with James Ralston of Eagle Grove on Oct. 20, 1935 at Eagle Grove. Mr. Ralston was employed by the Chicago, Northwestern Railroad. The couple was divorced in 1974. She died at her home in Eagle Grove on Saturday morning, June 5, 1982 after suffering a heart attack. She attained the age of 63 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Northwestern Club, Garden Club and the Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are her son, Jimmie Ralston of Eagle Grove; her daughter, Charlene, Mrs. Richard Peterson of Webster City; five grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy, Mrs. Gordon Jorgensen of Fort Dodge; Elsie, Mrs. Burton Thompson of Radcliffe, Iowa and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Streitilmier. Private funeral services for Juanita Ralston were held on Tuesday, June 8, 1982 at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Rev. Don Callen of the United Methodist Church officiated and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
