DOWS, Iowa -- Scarlett Rose Dickerson, 13 day old infant daughter of Ashley Dickerson and Rebecca (Hickman) Warland passed away Friday June 20, 2014 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services for Scarlett Dickerson will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday June 27, 2014 at the First Lutheran Church in Dows. Pastor Ron Nelson will officiate. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation for Scarlett Dickerson will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday June 26, 2014 at the Dugger Funeral Home 300 North Lee Street in Dows and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made in Scarlett Rose Dickerson’s name to the family and may be mailed to: The Family of Scarlett R. Dickerson, PO Box 233, Belmond, Iowa 50421.

Scarlett Rose, the daughter of Ashley Dickerson and Rebecca (Hickman) Warland, was born June 7, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Scarlett’s brief time here was closely attended, watched over and truly loved by her parents and family. She graced them for nearly two weeks under the dedicated care of the doctors and nurses at Mercy Infant Care Unit.

Scarlett is survived by her parents, Ashley and Rebecca of Dows, three sisters, Allison, Daisy, Brooklyn, two brothers, Joseph, Caidon, maternal grandparents, Bob and Ceci Hickman of Ankeny, paternal grandparents, John and Carmel Dickerson of Dows, great grandparents, Norma and Guy Lary of Des Moines, Mark and Dee Stolze of Ankeny, Ellen Waters of Dows, Betty Dickerson of Story City, numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
