Daryl V. Cook, Age 84, of Eden Prairie, passed away June 5, 2014. He was born November 12, 1929, to Clarence and Sylvia Cook of Corwith, Iowa. He graduated high school in Belmond, Iowa, where he lived with his grandparents, George and Tena Cook. He earned a BA degree from Hamilton Business College, then served stateside during the Korean War. He married his soul mate Janice Hull in 1954 and loved his life with her until she passed in 2001. Daryl was a successful businessman and devoted family man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by his children, Skip (Teri) Cook, of Eden Prairie and Robin (Brent) Aberg, of Forest City, Iowa; grandchildren Cody Cook, and Madeline, Lydia, and Calvin Aberg; brother Donovan (Dixie), of Clear Lake, Iowa; nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Ethel Cook; and wife. Funeral service Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 300 E. 4th St., Chaska, MN 55318 (952-448-2526). Visitation will take place for 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment Eden Prairie Cemetery. Huber Funeral & Cremation Services Eden Prairie Chapel.
