HOWARD MONROE MORGAN

Howard Morgan was born on January 24, 1911, at Wilke, Iowa, and passed away on August 25, 1986, at Fort Dodge, Iowa at the age of 75 years, seven months and one day. He attended school in rural Wright and Humboldt Counties, then worked as a farm hand and later farmed for himself. He was a member of the Black Angus Association, raised Purebred Hogs, a great supporter of the Wright County Junior Fair and the Eagle Grove Senior Citizens Center. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove.

Howard was united in marriage to Georgia Shaunce of Eagle Grove at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove on February 16, 1935. Georgia died in 1978. They had no children. He is survived by two brothers: John Morgan, Sr. of Eagle Grove and Clifford Morgan of Clarion; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dennis Morgan, Phoenix, Arizona.
