Mrs. Jesse Moon funeral today

Mrs. Jesse Moon, 88, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Jaunita Ford. She had resided there for the past 7 - 1/2 years and had been bedfast the last few years. Funeral services will be (Thursday) this morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church in charge of Rev. Edward Lechtenberg. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in the family plat. Mrs. Moon is survived by one son, Clifford of Eagle Grove; two daughters, LaVerna, Mrs. R. R. Hannum of Boone, and Alice, Mrs. Silas Tungesvik of Radcliffe and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers and three sisters. Josephine Carroll, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Carroll, was born Feb. 17, 1882 in Decatur, Ill. She attended school in Fort Dodge and was married to Jesse Moon on June 28, 1911 at Fort Dodge. They farmed East of Eagle Grove until his death in 1965.
