Eunice Adele Fisher was born August 12, 1918 at LuVerne, Iowa to George W. and Ursula M. (Kubly) Frantz. She was schooled at LuVerne and was married to Wesley Cleveland on February 28, 1940 in Corwith. She worked with Wesley on the farm until his death on August 24, 1954. On November 26, 1955, Eunice was united in marriage to Floyd Fisher in Ft. Dodge. During her marriage, she worked at Treloar's Restaurant in Ft. Dodge as a hostess. They enjoyed traveling from coast to coast as well as to Hawaii and the Mexican Riviera. They spent summers at Lake Cormorant, Minnesota fishing. Floyd died on August 7, 1972.

Through the years, Eunice enjoyed bowling, playing cards, golfing, making crafts, crocheting afghans for nieces and nephews and spending time with her family. While living in Ft. Dodge, Eunice was a volunteer at Trinity Regional Hospital in the gift shop. She moved to Algona to Huskamp Haven in 2008 to be closer to her nieces. She moved into Good Samaritan Society ~ Algona in December, 2010 and died there on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the age of 95.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra and husband James Dykes of Adrian, Missouri as well as two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and two nieces Sharon and husband Bob Smith of Algona and Betty Guy of LuVerne and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and sisters, Lois Wilson, Jewell Heinkel and Alberta Asplin.

Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Oakcrest Funeral Services, Algona. Interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery, Algona. Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour before funeral at the funeral home. Oakcrest Funeral Services of Algona is in charge of arrangements.
