Evelyn Grande, 94, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at the Presbyterian Village, Ackley, Iowa. Funeral services for Evelyn Grande 12:30 pm Friday at Linn’s Funeral Home 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa, with Pastor Jackie Kenyon officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice. The Linn’s Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Evelyn June Attwooll was born July 22, 1919, at Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Harry E. and Mary [Oleson] Attwooll. She attended the Clarion, Iowa Community Schools. On July 19, 1951, she was united in marriage to Harry Ardel Grande at Atwater, Minnesota. Harry and Evelyn were proprietors of the Ben Franklin Store, Iowa Falls, and had previously owned the National 5 and 10 Store in Oelwein, Iowa. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible, Iowa Falls. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: Mary and Harry Attwooll; her husband: Harry Grande; a sister: La Bonna; and two brothers: Elwood and Robert.
