Carol Claude, 92 of Parker, Colorado, formerly of Woolstock, died on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Lincoln Meadows Senior Living. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at French Cemetery in Woolstock.

Carol Bernice Calkins, the daughter of George and Lois Richardson Calkins, was born on May 24, 1921 in Webster City. She was educated in the Webster City School System. On August 24, 1941 she married Victor Claude Jr. in Princeton, MO. The couple farmed and resided east of Woolstock. Carol was a receptionist for Dr. Hollingshead in Webster City for many years. Victor died on July 3, 2009.

She is survived by her children; Steven Claude of Denver, CO, Katherine DiCintio of Parker, CO, Carl (Carolyn) Day of Williams; grandchildren, Steven Claude Murray, Abby Claude, Pasquale DiCintio and Michelle DiCintio; three great-grandchildren, a brother, Leslie (Ann) Calkins of Tucson, AZ. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Pat DiCintio, brother, Wendell Calkins, and sister, Arlys Snyder. She was a member of the Woolstock United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
