Helen Tubbs, 92, Buena Park, Calif.

Helen (Middleton) Tubbs of Buena Park, Ca. passed away November 22, 2013. She was the daughter of James Ely Middleton and Emma Catherine Middleton. A service was held Wednesday, November 27 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Ca. She was the sister of Shirley (Dale) Hillyer and Albert Middleton of Webster City. Helen graduated from Woolstock High School, Woolstock, Ia. She then moved to Long Beach, Ca. and lived with a sister in Long Beach until she married Melvin Tubbs, now deceased. In addition to her sister and brother, she is survived by a son, Steve Tubbs of Buena Park, and a daughter, Janice (Sam) Sweetin of Los Alamitos, Ca., one granddaughter, two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. One daughter, Linda Houck, passed away in July, 2013. She was laid to rest in a crypt at Forest Lawn next to her husband, Melvin.
