Betty Fye-Smith, 82, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Private services will be held at a later date. The Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Betty is survived husband, Tom; two brothers, Roger Lalor and David Lalor and her sister, Mary (Lalor) Battin. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Claris; her parents, Raymond Francis and Mary Roxcena (Orr) Lalor; three brothers, Wayne Lalor, John Lalor and Raynard Lalor and two sisters, Hermie (Lalor) Wingerson and Maxcine (Lalor) Smith.

Betty Jean Lalor was born March 27, 1931 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. On November 11, 1946, Betty married Claris Fye. He died on December 7, 1976. She later married Tom L. Smith on September 26, 1981. Betty was a life member of the VFW.
