Mrs. Henrietta Hamilton

Henrietta Saxton was born in Hardin County, Ohio, Feb. 25, 1938, at which she grew to young womanhood. At a very early age she was united with the Methodist Church to which she has been a faithful member. On Nov. 23rd, 1854, she was united in holy matrimony to William Hamilton. To this union were born three girls, and five boys. Her husband, one daughter, and three sons having preceded her in passing to the Great Beyond. In October, 1865, she and her family moved to Fayette County, Illinois. After the death of her husband she resided in LaClede, Illinois, until the fall of 1923, at which time she came to Renwick, Iowa, to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Fisher. She passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 1926, at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 14 days. She leaves two sons, and two daughters, John W. of St. James, Illinois, Chas E. of Centralia, Illinois, Mrs. W. A. Fisher of this place and Mrs. J. W. Reynolds of Lake Worth, Florida, besides thirty grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Fisher home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. R. E. Cook officiating. Burial was made at Vernon cemetery.
