Funeral Services for Lulu Hansen Claude, 94, will be held at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Jacob Van Mantgem officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Lulu died Friday at the Hamilton County Hospital.

Lula Hansen, daughter of Nels and Lydia Shehein Hansen, was born Jan. 9, 1894 in Wright County. She was educated in country schools in Wright Co. She married James A. Claude Jan. 9, 1912 at Clarion. The couple farmed in the Woolstock, Webster City and Eagle Grove areas. Following the death of her husband in December of 1953. She continued to reside on the family farm until June of 1984 when she moved to Southfield Care Center.

Survivors are two daughters and a son, Della (Mrs. Leo) Gramblin of Clarion, Clifford Claude of Woolstock, and Arlene (Mrs. Paul) Sullivan of Webster City; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, two brothers and one sister. She attended the Woolstock United Methodist Church.
