February 11, 1926 --- April 17, 1988

FORREST LEROY CLAUDE, 62, of Webster City, was found at his home on Sunday morning, April 17, 1988. He had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Clinton Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Forrest LeRoy Claude, son of Peter and Hazel Frakes Claude, was born Feb 11, 1926 on a farm east of Woolstock. He attended rural Wright and Hamilton County schools. Mr. Claude farmed for several years and later served as a paratrooper with the army during World War II. On August 22, 1966, he married Hazel Marie Beadle in Minnesota. The couple resided in Webster City where he was employed by McCollough Manufacturing. He retired 12 years ago due to failing health. Survivor are his mother; one brother, Ordean Claude of Webster City; one sister, Eulalie (Mrs. Edward) Hall of Story City. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and one sister. Mr. Claude was a member of the Woolstock United Methodist Church.
