Hold Funeral Services Friday for Howard McCurry

Funeral services for J. Howard McCurry, 79, were held at Renwick, Oct. 12, in United Methodist Church at Renwick. Blake Funeral Home was in charge. Mr. McCurry died Oct. 10 in a hospital at Belmond following a lengthy illness. Survivors include the widow, Grace; two sons, both of Goldfield; two daughters, of Vinton and Minneapolis; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. McCurry was born at Goldfield where he was reared and educated. In 1915 he married Grace Packard at Renwick. The couple farmed during the years of their marriage and retired in 1946. For the past year he had been a resident of a Belmond nursing home. Mr. McCurry was a member of Renwick United Methodist Church and a member of Viona Lodge, A.F. and A.M., Renwick.
