Alice L. Johnson, 84, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with CLP Marcia Rich, PhD, officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery. The visitation is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Alice is survived by her sister Grace Johnson, Fort Dodge, and other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Melvin.

Alice L. Johnson, the daughter of Otto and Estella (Messerly) Johnson, was born in Colfax Township on June 3, 1923. Alice received her education, was a lifelong homemaker and she worked on the family farm. Alice was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Farm Bureau. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and cats. Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation.
