Grace P. Johnson, 91, of Fort Dodge died on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Villa Care Center in Fort Dodge. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday August 18, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial following at Oakland Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home. Grace was born on July 16, 1917 to Otto and Estella [Messerly] Johnson. She was born and educated in Colfax Township. Grace loved visiting and corresponding with friends and relatives. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and was never a person to complain about anything. Grace is survived by her cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her brother Melvin and sister Alice, who both passed away in this past year.
