April 24, 1949 ---- July 7, 2013

Ms. Picco was born in Corwith, Iowa, where she lived for 16 years working on her farm in the corn fields. She was involved in cheerleading, 4-H, and played the trumpet. She moved to Torrance, Calif., 48 years ago where she graduated from Narbon High School. When she was 19 she won the title of Ms. Lomita, Calif. At the age of 28 she got married and had her daughter. She divorced a few years later. She worked for Placer Co. Mental Health as a secretary for 10 years and she retired three years ago. Survivors include a daughter, Nicole Murphy; grandchildren: Madeline, Jase, Connor, and MaryJane; and a sister, Judy Cummins. Visitation is Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 a.m., Funeral Service to start at 12 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn. Burial will follow at the New Auburn Cemetery.
