Elsie Mae Leister, daughter of Arthur and Viola (Westgate) Ambroult, was born May 7, 1929, in Norton, Massachusetts. Raised and educated in Wareham, Massachusetts and moved to Eagle Grove in 1960. Elsie passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Clarion Wellness and Rehab, at the age of 84 years. Survivors include Cris Burke - Casper, WY, Carol Botts (Martin) - Dyersville, Cheryl Nelsen (Rick) - Holmes, Steve Arne - Fort Dodge, Tom Arne (Nancy) - Goldfield, Connie Sears (Dave) - Afton, WY.

Elsie Mae Leister, the daughter of Arthur and Viola (Westgate) Ambroult, was born on May 7, 1929, in Norton, Mass. She was raised and educated in Wareham, Mass. Elsie was married to Manuel Paccheco in 1947. Of this union were born a daughter and a son. Manny and Elsie later divorced. Elsie married Thomas Arne in 1958, and of this union were born twin daughters. They moved to Eagle Grove in 1960. Elsie worked at Rotary Ann care center, the Sandman Motel, and as a home health aide for Wright County for ten years, retiring in 1991. Elsie passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Clarion Wellness and Rehab, at the age of 84 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Alice Ambroult, brother, Lawrence "Skippy" Ambroult; and sister, Bea Pickle. Survivors include her daughters Cris Burke of Worland, Wyo., Carol Botts (Martin) of Dyersville, Cheryl Nelsen (Rick) of Holmes; son, Steve Arne of Fort Dodge; step-son, Tom Arne (Nancy) of Goldfield and stepdaughter, Connie Sears (Dave) of Afton, Wyo., 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-greatgrandchild. brother, Archie Ambroult and wife, Ellie, of Brockton, Mass.; and very close friend, Judy Reeder of Eagle Grove.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, August 17, at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Foust Funeral Home of
Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
