She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gretchen Berry; husband, Leonard; sisters, JoAnn Ivory; Louise Freis; and brother, Jerry Berry.

Virginia A. Berry was born September 18, 1932 in Duncombe. She was raised and educated in Duncombe. In 1951, Virginia was united in marriage to Leonard Olsen in Ozark, AL. In 1952, the couple established their home in Vincent. In 1966, the couple established Olsen Plumbing, Trenching, and Well Repair. Virginia was a loving homemaker and the couple operated the business until 1986. After Leonard passed away in 1995, Virginia moved to Fort Dodge in 1998. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Virginia loved shopping, especially with her sisters. On Tuesday nights she could be found down at Lefti's enjoying a meal and laughs with friends. However, spending time with grandchildren at sporting events, visits to Des Moines, or even chats on the phone were the most important times to Virginia. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
