Bradley Kent Jessen, the son of Robert K. Jessen and Shirley (Roe), was born on January 11, 1966, in Webster City. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove, graduating in the 'Class of 1985. On August 13, 1984, he was united in marriage with Diane Toillion in Webster City. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove. Brad worked for the Gold-Eagle Coop the last 20 years.

Brad was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Antique Tractor Club and National Wild Turkey Federation. He had a great passion for the outdoors – whether it be turkey or deer hunting and was a true steward of the land and nature. Brad loved to hang out with the kids and share his enthusiasm for hunting, tractors or just plain enjoying life!

Brad died on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, at the age of 47 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother, Robert Jessen, Jr., nephews, Kristopher Walters and Lucas Toillion; father-in-law, Roger Toillion and granddog, Harley. Survivors include his wife, Diane Jessen; daughters, Crystal Meyer and her husband Brandon and granddaughter, Aubri and Alissa Jessen and significant other, Bart Asche; sons, Logan Toillion and Colton Jessen all of Eagle Grove; timber buddy, Sunny Boy; four granddogs, Ellie, Tucker, Jade and Zoey; mother and father, Shirley and Lundy Hilpipre of Eagle Grove; biological father, Robert Jessen Sr. of Eagle Grove; sisters, Barb Boyd and her husband Wayne of Goldfield and Kristi Walker and her husband Robert of Eagle Grove; mother-in-law, Bonnie Toillion of Eagle Grove and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, 10:30 A.M., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be Monday, with a Rosary/Vigil at 4:30 p.m. and Visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
