May 8, 1875 - September 14, 1962

Anna Guggisberg, the daughter of Fredolin and Barbara Klasse, was born May 8, 1875, on the Klasse farm 3 miles north of Renwick. She was the 7th of 13 children, most of whom spent their lifetime in and around Renwick. She died in the Rotary Ann home in Eagle Grove, Sept. 14, 1962, at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 6 days. On November 7, 1893, she was united in marriage to Gottfried Guggisberg, who preceded her in death in 1944, after 51 years of married life. She leaves four children, Lillian Packard of Mason City; Albert of La Jolla, Calif., Fred of Renwick; and Marvin of Dallas, Tex; four granddaughters and two great granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Walker of Renwick, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Webster City; one brother, Henry Klasse of Renwick. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 17, 1962.
