Graveside Rites for Walter Hansen Held Here Sunday

Graveside rites conducted by Rev. Laurice Sireyffeler for Walter Hansen of Marana, Ariz., were held at the Vernon cemetery Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. on Sept. 9 with the Lindhart Funeral home in charge. Mr. Hansen died Sept 5 following a lingering illness, having been in a hospital since May 25. He was born Sept 29, 1905 and was married to Frances Walkner of Renwick at Humboldt, Jan. 5, 1926. He was superintendent at the Renwick Municipal Light Plant for 16 years from 1935 to 1951. The family moved to Marana, Ariz., in July 1951 and since that time until his health failed he was employed by the Trico Electric Coop Inc. at Marana. Survivors are his wife, Florence, his six children (4 of Marana, 1 of Estherville, Ia., and one of Omaha, Neb.). Services were held at the Adair Funeral chapel in Tucson, Ariz., at 1:30 Friday Sept 7.
