December 26, 1828 --- December 19, 1911

After a long and painful illness Mrs. Frances Bootz passed away at the home of her son, Fred Walkner, on December 19 at 2 a.m. Had she lived until Dec. 26, she would have passed her 82nd milestone. All that loving hands and skill of physicians could do were brought forth to make her last days peaceful. She suffered until she was called home where pain is no more. She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, Joseph, Frank, Fred and George and daughter Mrs. Ed Eggerth, where were at her bedside. The funeral was held at the Evangelical church on Thursday morning at 10:30, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Kraft of Lu Verne. The church filled with neighbors and sympathizing friends. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. She was followed to her last resting place in Vernon cemetery by her family, grand children and great grandchildren. We sympathize with those who mourn her.
