Brown Fielder Dies at Home; Rites Tuesday

EAGLE GROVE — Brown Fielder, 64, died Saturday evening at his home here. Mr. Fielder, a retired railroad conductor of the Chicago Northwestern Railway had been ill for several months with a heart condition. He retired from his duties with the railroad in 1957. Services were held on Tuesday at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Cox in charge. Interment was at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Survivors are his wife, Bernice, one son, Holland, Perry; and one daughter, Mrs. C. R. (Ruth) Hunter, Des Moines; five grandchildren; three brothers, Perry Fielder, Texas; Donald Fielder, San Pedro, Calif, and Kenneth Fielder, Des Moines, and two sisters, Mary, New York, and Beulah, Mrs. Manning Trout, Eagle Grove. Masonic services were held Monday night by the Bower Lodge at the Sacquety Funeral Chapel.
