Mrs. Marie E. Goettsch, 85 died Sunday (October 31, 1971) in the Belmond Hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Renwick with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The Blake Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Marie Jagim was born in Keystone, Iowa. She married H. Emil Goettsch in 1912 at Gascoyne, N. D. and they made their home in Renwick. Mr. Goettsch died in 1963. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ardath Jagnow of Coralville, a son Thomas of Ames; six grandchildren; one great grandchild, two brothers and two sisters.
