Services Held For Roy McCurry, 81
Roy McCurry, 81, longtime Renwick resident, died Wednesday night, May 4, 1966, at the Heritage Home, Clarion, where he had been living since July, 1965. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, in the Renwick Methodist church, with Rev. C. Wilbur Egeland, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield with Blake Funeral Home in charge.
Born and reared near Renwick, Mr. McCurry had always lived here until going to the Heritage Home. He was a retired farmer. In 1908, he married Helen Packard at Renwick. She died in 1941. Surviving are five children, Mrs. Carroll Packard of Goldfield, Mrs. Arthur Erdman and Stanley McCurry of Renwick, Mrs. Charles Smith of White Lake, Wis., and Jerry McCurry of Humboldt, 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is one brother, Howard McCurry of Renwick.
