Funeral services for Mrs. Martha J. Martin, 95, of Renwick, were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Renwick with the Rev. Gerald Armstrong officiating. Burial was at Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield. Mrs. Martin died Monday at the Clarion Care Center. Garry-Roberts-Schaaf Funeral Home of Renwick was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by one son Maurice of Renwick; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Leist and Vivian Hudnell, both of Circleville, Ohio; and one grandchild.

Mrs. Martin was born May 4, 1887, at Circleville, Ohio, to Albert B. and Ella M. Pontious Hudnell. She attended Circleville High School and went to normal training school and taught in Ohio for eight years. She married Alfred H. Martin on Feb 18, 1913, in Circleville, Ohio, and they moved to the Renwick area following their marriage, farming there for many years. He died April 18, 1972. She was a member of the Renwick United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and former member of the Fortnightly Club of Renwick.
