September 13, 1871 ---- December 1886

Eagle Grove -- Dec. 13: Harvey Blood, aged about 16, son of L. Blood, was found dead in a field a few miles east of Renwick this morning. He had not been seen since Saturday morning, and search was made early this morning. A pistol shot in the forehead, a revolver lying near, revealed the cause, but whether suicidal or accidental the jury have not determined.
