Leora Alice (Pierce) Smith was born in Hardy, Iowa on October 4, 1926 and died in Bellevue, WA on May 24, 2012. She worked as a lab technician and in related fields. Leora was a life-long fancier of cats, horses, and dogs. She also raised prize-winning roses. Married to Jackson Keith Smith, Leora enjoyed traveling world-wide. She will be buried at Terrace Heights Cemetery in Yakima, WA, alongside her mother and father. Memorial donations may be made at Dogs for The Deaf.org. Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Bellevue, WA.
