Norma J. Watts, 90, passed away March 28, 2013 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral Home.

Norma J. Daggy, the daughter of Lily and Asa Daggy, was born April 29, 1922 in Clarion Iowa. She moved to Humboldt, Iowa with her family where she graduated from Humboldt High School in 1941. Norma married Cecil Watts on December 26th 1945 upon his return from World War II. Married for 65 years, the couple lived in Idaho for a year. They returned to farm in LuVerne, Iowa. Following their retirement in 1985, Norma and Cecil made their home in LuVerne then moved to Humboldt in 2003. Mr. Watts passed away in 2005 and Norma moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2007 to be near family.

Norma and Cecil were members of the LuVerne Methodist church. Norma and Cecil were also active members in the LuVerne American Legion and Auxiliary. Norma enjoyed reading, was an avid sports fan, she enjoyed bowling and loved playing bingo. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Rebecca & Andrew Halbkram of Smyrna, Delaware; her daughter-in law, Donna & Ron Fuchen of Marshalltown, Iowa; grandchildren, Tad and Kari Risty of Reva, South Dakota, TJ Risty of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kristin and Ben Drabek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jeremy Watts of Ames, Iowa; Great Grandchildren, Brooke Drabek (Daughter of Kristin & Ben), and Kohl, Brylee and Anson Risty (Children of Tad & Kari). Norma was preceded in death by her Parents (Lily and Asa); infant son, Billy; son, Kip; her husband, Cecil; brothers and sisters, Dema, Floyd, Inez, Nadine, Irene, Mildred, Wayne, Charles and Juanita.
