Mrs. Sarah Catharine Hockman, 94, of 229 Lincoln St., died Friday at 9:30 p.m. at Clay Street Nursing Home of arteriosclerosis. She had been a resident of Waterloo for 51 years. She was born Sept. 27, 1859, in Ohio, the daughter of George and Mary Obenmeyer Yoder. On June 25, 1879, she was married to Lemuel W. Hockman at Cedarville, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1907. In addition to her husband, three brother, two sisters, and three sons preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Lake Worth, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. W. E. Herrick of 129 Moir St., and Mrs. Laura Boughton of Janesville, Wis.; a son, Delmar, of Janesville, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at Kistner's Funeral Home. Dr. George G. Hunt, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Cass Center Cemetery near Webster City.
