Mrs. Henry Groen, age 85, died at the home of her daughter after a long illness. Henrietta Pals was born April 9, 1873 at Weener, Ostfriesland, Germany. She came to this country with her parents in 1883, first settled in Ackley, Iowa. She is survived by 8 children, 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and three brothers. Funeral at Bethany Reformed, Belmond; burial at Immanuel Cemetery.
