LISA BARNETT BERRY -- Lisa Ann (Ulsrud) Berry, age 47 of Rockwell City, IA, daughter of David and Shirley (McBroom) Ulsrud, was born July 5, 1965 in Marshalltown, IA. She passed away February 19, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Lisa grew up as a child in Casey, IA and spent her teenage years in Robertsdale, AL where she later moved to Lamoni, IA and lived as a homemaker raising her two children. Lisa also worked as a cook and child care provider. Lisa spent other time as a volunteer aid at the local school, as a den mother, and helping with other activities her children were involved in. She enjoyed bowling, photography, sharing photos, scrap booking, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She recently began attending services at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rockwell City, where she also became actively involved in a woman's worship group.

Lisa married Maurice Barnett in December 1983. One son, Trenton, and one daughter, Linessa, were born to them. They were later divorced, Lisa married Wayne Berry in August 2011. Lisa had a never ending love for her family, children, grandchildren, and friends. She liked to be involved in things where she could help others. She was the type of person who would go out of her way to do anything for anyone.

Preceding her in death were her father David T. Ulsrud and grandparents Clell and Lela McBroom. Survivors include her husband Wayne Berry of Rockwell City, IA; son Trenton and wife Erin Barnett of Camdenton, MO; daughter Linessa Davis of Leon, IA; step-son Shane and wife Michelle Barnett of Melverne, AR; step-son Jason Barnett of Conway AR; grandsons Christopher Ennis Jr. of Branchville, NJ and twins, Isaiah and Elijah Davis of Leon, IA; mother Shirley (McBroom) Ulsrud of Summerdale, AL; sister Dianna Ulsrud of Summerdale, AL; nephew David W. Ulsrud of Sumerdale, AL; niece Amy and husband Jesus Martinez of Summerdale, AL; great niece and nephew Jasmine and Conner Martinez; and other relatives and friends.

Lisa Ann Berry: Rockwell City woman dies in accident near Clarion

CLARION — A Rockwell City woman was killed in an early morning crash Tuesday one and a half miles west of Clarion in Wright County, the Iowa State Patrol reported.

Lisa Ann Berry, 47, was eastbound in a minivan on Iowa Highway 3 at 6:50 a.m. when she reportedly crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle.

Dean Johnson, 44, of Livermore, driver of the westbound Dodge Durango SUV, was transported to Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. A report on his condition was unavailable Tuesday evening. The accident remains under investigation. The Wright County Sheriff's Office, Clarion Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
