Funeral services for Moses S. White, 55, who died in the U.S. Veterans hospital in Des Moines Sunday, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Clarion Church of Christ. A veteran of World War I, Mr. White had been a patient in that hospital for seven years and before that had lived at Galt. Mr. White was born in Clarion Sept. 18, 1896, the son of William and Katherine White. He had never married. Military services were conducted at the graveside by the American Legion and V.F.W. Surviving are a brother, Lewis White, Clarion; a sister, Mrs. Ed Witherell, Clarion; Betty Morford and Marleen Witherell, nieces; and Carol White, a nephew.
