EAGLE GROVE - Yulahmae Voss, the daughter of William and Laura LeOta (Larimer) Murray, was born May 29, 1915, at her parents' farm south of Lu Verne. On August 19, 1934, Yulahmae married her high school sweetheart, John A. Voss, Jr., at Fenton, Iowa. Yulahmae passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Rotary Senior Living in Eagle Grove, Iowa at the age of 97 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Dwight Voss; a stillborn son, Frank Eugene Voss; a great grandson, Nathan Carr and her four brothers, Leon, Laurence, Roy and Robert Murray.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 3, 2012, at Evangelical Lutheran in Eagle Grove at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Agnew officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Lu Verne Cemetery, Lu Verne, Iowa.

Yulahmae is survived by two sons, Delmer Voss and wife Margieann of Eagle Grove and Keith Voss and wife Vera of Lu Verne; a daughter, LeOta Ann Liu of Fort Worth, TX; a daughter-in-law, Ruth O'Brient of Hookerton, NC; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
