Robert B. Schiller, 78, of Eagle Grove, was ushered into his eternal home on November 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Jason Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at the church.

Robert Schiller was born July 25, 1926, at Lohman, MO, to Rev. John and Adele Kirchhoff Schiller. Robert was baptized on July 29, 1934 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in Logan, MO, and was confirmed Jun 26, 1949 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in Milford NE and graduated from high school in Seward, NE. Robert worked for many years at Metro mail (later sold to R. Donnally) until his retirement. In 1999 he moved to Eagle Grove making his home on Spruce Drive until going into the Rotary Ann Nursing home. Robert was very active in the Lutheran church serving in many capacities. He was a very good bowler and enjoyed music and photography.

Those to carry on his memories are his brother Rev. H. W. (Elaine) Schiller, Eagle Grove; nephews Paul Schiller, Boise, ID, Samuel Schiller, CA, Stephen (Connie) Schiller, Charles City, IA; niece, Julie Schiller Thompson, Waterloo and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dr. John Schiller and his wife Alene; nephew, Jeffery Schiller and niece Christine Schiller.

EAGLE GROVE - Robert B. Schiller, 78, of Eagle Grove, passed away November 9, 2012 at Rotary Ann in Eagle Grove. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of the funeral service at the church. Robert was the brother of The Rev. H. W. Schiller. Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home is assisting the family.
