Funeral services for Robert John Wehrheim, 54 were held Tuesday at the Sacred Heart church in Eagle Grove. The Rey. Albert Hoffmann, pastor of St. John's Catholic church In Clarion officiated and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove.

Robert John Wehrheim was born July 16, [May 16?] 1911 to, William and Katharine [Dundon] Wehrheim. He attended Sacred Heart School In Eagle Grove. From 1942 to 1945 he served his country In World War II. An employee of the Iowa Highway Commission for 33 years he was foreman for the commission at the time of his death.

He married Grayce Larsen at Goldfield on July 15, 1941. He Is survived by his wife, Grayce, one son, Richard and one daughter, Mary Ann, both at home. Also surviving are one brother, Dr. Francis Wehrheim of El Paso, Texas and two sisters, Catherine, Mrs. Richard Henegar of Athens, Georgia and Dorothy, Mrs. Robert Devine of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded In death by his parents, two brothers, Lawrence and William and one sister, Mrs. Mary Smith.

Robert Wehrheim Funeral Here Tuesday Morning

Funeral services were held here Tuesday morning in Sacred Heart church for a former resident, Robert Wehrheim, 54, of Clarion. Mr. Wehrheim died suddenly at his home there about 11 o'clock Saturday morning following a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, one son Richard and one daughter Mary Ann of Clarion, one brother Dr. Francis Wehrheim of El Paso, Tex., two sisters Mrs. Richard Henegar of Athens, Ga., and Mrs. Robert Devine of Omaha, Neb. They were all here for the funeral services. The Rev. Albert J. Hoffman, pastor of St. John's church in Clarion officiated at the services at 9:30 a. m. and burial was in Calvary cemetery. The rosary was recited at the Kastler Funeral Home Monday evening at 8 o'clock.

Mr. Wehrheim was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wehrheim of Eagle Grove. He had been employed by the Iowa Highway Commission for 33 years and at the time of his death was Wright county maintenance foreman for the Iowa Highway Commission.
