Local Man's Mother Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Wehrheim, 82, longtime Eagle Grove resident, were held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. Francis Phelan will be celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial will be in the Calvary cemetery with the Kastler Funeral home in charge. The rosary was recited Monday evening at 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wehrheim died late Saturday at Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. The former Katherine Wehrheim, she was born and reared at Webster City, Her husband, Willliam Wehrheim an insurance and real estate agent, preceded her in death.

Surviving are four children, Dr. Francis of El Paso, Texas, Robert of Clarion, Mrs. Richard Henigar of Athens, Ga., and Mrs. Robert Devine of Omaha, Neb.; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister.
