K. Boughton's Father Dies Friday

A. O. Boughton, 70, of Eagle Grove, and father of Kenneth Boughton of Britt died Friday morning at a Fort Dodge hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday at the Congregational church in Eagle Grove. He was a widely known auctioneer having been associated with R. K. Uhl in an auctioneering firm for over 30 years. The firm was well known in North Iowa and they also conducted sales in nearby states. Boughton was born at Woolstock in 1884. Survivors include his wife, son Kenneth F., of Britt; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Jacobson, of Webster City; a brother, Melbourn R., of Tucson, Arizona.
