Robert Crane, 33, Funeral Friday

Robert Gerald Crane, 33, of Dows, died at the Woodward State hospital Tuesday night, Feb. 16. He was born May 24, 1931 at Vincent, Iowa, the son of Robert S. and Jennie (Beukelman) Crane. He is survived by his parents at Dows and the following sisters: (Mary), Mrs. Floyd Pierce of Kenosha, Wis., (Doris), Mrs. Curtis Anderson of Ames, (Barbara) Mrs. Arthur Philbrook of Webster City; (Alice) Mrs. John Paulson of Duncombe, one brother, Richard Crane of Nevada. Six nieces and 6 nephews survive. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 o'clock from the Van Hove funeral home. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
