Carl Vroman, 84, Services Tuesday

Funeral services for Carl B. Vroman, 84, were conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. at Goldfield Methodist church. The Rev. Philip Halvorsen of Eagle Grove, pastor of Holmes Baptist church, officiated and burial was in Glenwood cemetery, Goldfield, with the Kastler Funeral home, Eagle Grove in charge. Mr. Vroman died Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marion Nelson, at Belmond. He had been in poor health for some time. Born at Centerville, he farmed in the Goldfield area for many years. His wife died in 1959. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Marion Nelson of Belmond, Annis Vroman of Iowa Falls, Mrs. Marie Kiley of Eagle Grove, Mrs. John Kiley of Corwith, Mrs. Donald Schultz of Ames, Mrs. Morris Anderson of Clarion and Mrs. Edward Stupka of Goldfield. There are 26 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Pearl Vroman of Whittier, Calif.
