Graveside Services For Mrs. Joe McCoy

Funeral services for Mrs. Joe McCoy, age 48 were held Friday P. M., May 12 at the Miller Funeral Home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Reverend Gerald Keefe officiated. Joy Poncin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Poncin of Galt was born March 29, 1919 and passed away suddenly in the Unity Hospital in Minneapolis on Wednesday, May 10th. She was graduated from the Galt High School with the Class of 1937. She was married to Joe McCoy, living in Emmetsburg and Charles City, and since 1942 they have made their home in Minneapolis. At the time of her death she was manager of Leibs Ladies Apparel, where she had been for several years. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Harley (Opal) Malin of Minneapolis and one brother, Ray Poncin of Emmetsburg, Iowa. Preceding her in death were one sister, Mrs. Earl (Sue) Pyle, of Charles City, two brothers, Lee Poncin of Cedar Rapids and Nick Poncin of Galt. Graveside services for Mrs. McCoy were held at the Galt Cemetery on Saturday at 1 p. m. Relatives and friends from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Britt, Dows, Galt, Clarion, Charles City, Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg and Popejoy attended.
