Former Woolstock Man Dies Saturday
WOOLSTOCK, IA — Rudolph Penno, a former resident of the Woolstock community, died suddenly Saturday at 6 p. m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Johnson in Lehigh. Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church in Woolstock, Kastler funeral home in charge. Burial was made in the French cemetery near Woolstock. Penno was born and raised in Illinois and moved to Iowa in his young manhood. He and his family lived many years on a farm near Woolstock. Mrs. Penno preceded him in death. He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Leonard (Pauline) Johnson of Lehigh, Mrs. Paul (Charlotte) Grain of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Harry (Gladys) Groves of Eagle Grove and by a son, Herman Penno of California.
