Roger Eriksen, 18, Dies Suddenly

Roger Norman Eriksen, 18, of Dows died unexpectedly at Iowa Falls Friday night. He was a student at Ellsworth College and graduated from the Dows High School with the class of 1966. He was born May 21, 1948 at Iowa Falls, the son of Norman and Marlene Eriksen of Dows. He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Mary Ellen, Marsha, and Maria, all at home, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aage Eriksen of Dows and Mr. and Mrs. R. B. French of Chapin. He was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Ann, who died in August, 1965. Funeral services were held Monday at two o'clock at the First Presbyterian church at Dows. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. William Niles officiating. The Van Hove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Cause of death is undetermined at this time.
