Mrs. Ida Mourlam Services Tuesday

Mrs. Ida Blanche Mourlam, 74, a longtime resident of Woolstock, died early Sunday morning at the Clarion Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for two and a half weeks. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove, with the Rev. Marden Williams, pastor of the Woolstock Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was at the French Cemetery, Woolstock. She is survived by two sons, George Mourlam of Woolstock, Clifford, Clear Lake; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Wilcox and Mrs. Caryle Anderson, Eagle Grove, Mrs. Harold Claude, Woolstock, and Mrs. Carroll Wilson, Ames. Also surviving are three brothers, Charles Hilpipre, Webster City; Edmund Hilpipre, Eagle Grove, and Leo Hilpipre, Woolstock, and seven sisters, Mrs. Rose Smith, Mrs. Josephine Brandt, Mrs. Ada Brandt, all of Webster City; Mrs. Lydia Claude, Mrs. Mary Kastler, both of Woolstock, Mrs. Delia Rohrer and Mrs. Florence Rink, Clarion. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Born in Serena, Ill., the former Ida Blanche Hilpipre, she married Charlie Mourlam in 1911 at Webster City. After their marriage, they came to the Woolstock area where they farmed until his death in 1963.
