August 24, 1890 -- December 14, 1947

Bartholomew Francis Rink, 57, of 4021 E. First St., died yesterday in a local hospital. He was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and came from there to Long Beach in 1942. He was a machinist by trade and was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic parish. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Clara Rink; three sons, Stephen and Merlin Rink of Long Beach, and Raymond Hanson of Eagle Grove, Iowa; Mrs. Marjorie C. Tanner and Mrs. Evelyn C. Winfield, of Long Beach; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Coffee of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and five grandchildren. Services and Interment will be in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Friends may call until noon Tuesday at the chapel of Dilday Mortuary.
