Funeral services for Mrs. Laurine Helvik, 62, who died Thursday in Hayward will be held in Goldfield, Iowa. A native of Eagle Grove, Iowa and resident of Hayward for the past three years, Mrs. Helvik lived at 36 Harder Road, Hayward. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Goldfield, Iowa. Widow of the late Edward Helvik, she was the mother of Edward Helvik Jr. of Hayward, Mrs. Evelyn Lorentz of San Diego, Mrs. Marjory Gross, Warner, S.D., Mrs. Arlene Riley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Bernice McCabe and Miss Karen Helvik, both of Sioux Falls, S.D. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Grace Rosaasen, three brothers, Clarence Olson, Harold Olson and Mandley Olson all of Minnesota and also seven grandchildren. Local arrangements are being handled by Sorensen Bros. Mortuary, 1140 B St., Hayward where friends may call until 10 a.m. tomorrow.
