Harry Dee Conklin, 86, died Friday evening, June 14, at Greensburg. Mr. Conklin farmed for many
years in the Humboldt area and then lived at Colony for 10 years before moving to Greensburg in
1970. He was born September 6, 1887, in Wright County, Iowa. Mr. Conklin was married to Eva
May Adams January 25, 1910, in Iola. She preceded him in death December 9, 1969. Mr. Conklin was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Humboldt. Survivors include two sons, Eryl, Watsonville, California, and Carl of Greensburg; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Gamp, Anchorage, Alaska and Mrs. Thelma Coppage, Haysville; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Herstein, Humboldt, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time, but burial will be in DeWitt Cemetery in Humboldt. Fleener Funeral Home of Greensburg is in charge of arrangements.Iola Register -- Iola, Kansas
