ST. JOHN, Kansas — Orville J. Marcus, 64, died Thursday at St. John District Hospital after a short illness. Born Aug. 11, 1908, in Wright County, Iowa, he married Viola Kopper Sept. 10, 1939, at Clarion, Iowa. He was a retired meat cutter and lived here since 1965. Survivors include the widow; son: Peter, Ness City; daughters: Mrs. Clifford Stieben, WaKeeney; Mrs. James Schleske, Kansas City, Mo.; sisters: Mrs. E. U. Webster, Bountiful, Utah; Mrs. Arthur Nessa, Eagle Grove, Iowa; Evelyn Marcus, Belmond, Iowa; five grandchildren.
