Freda I. Fisher, 91, of Eagle Grove died Wednesday March 10, 2004 at her home in Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held Friday March 12, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist church. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Freda I. Fisher was born June 9, 1912 in Fulda, Minnesota, the daughter of John G. and Rosa (Worby) Buhner, Sr. The family made their home in Minnesota until moving to Eagle Grove in 1917 where they established the Eagle Grove Greenhouse. On June 23, 1938, Freda married Robert L. Fisher at Eagle Grove. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1992. Freda was a member of the United Methodist church in Eagle Grove, the JFF (Just For Fun) club, White Shrine, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved family gatherings and her friends. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Dolores Buhner of Eagle Grove and several nieces and nephews. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
